 Membership Appreciation Picnic 2012
(Sunday April 29th, 2012) Instead of having our traditional Spring Banquet, we decided to shake it up a bit. The first Annual Member Appreciation Picnic included Knights and family members. everyone seemed to have a great time at the event.

 Lenten Fish Fries 2012
(Friday March 2nd, 16th and 30th, 2012) Over 1,200 people were served fish dinners in the month of March at St. Joseph's parish social hall. What an accomplishment! THANK you so much for all of your hard work.
Many, many thanks to the Co-Chairs of this event Bob Sturm and Doug Busho. These guys put in a lot of effort.

(Sunday March 18th 2012) The 5th Graders at St. Joseph's School are now prepared to "Go Make a Difference in the World". This is the song they sang at the D.A.R.E. Graduation ceremony at St. Joesph's school in Rosemount. They are called to do this because they are the only D.A.R.E. graduating class in the area. Thanks to the generous parishioners at St. Joseph's parish who support this program through donations at the Pancake breakfast our council puts on.

Bowling is Back
(Saturday March 17th 2012) After a "rainout" year, the Annual KC Bowling Outing has returned. Thanks to event chairman Jay Tentinger, bowlers (using that term loosely) from the council had a great time.That's Michelle Prosen, wife of Treasure Pat. She won the Ladies trophy. After the bowling at City Limits in Rosemount, the group headed to Ole Piper Inn to enjoy some pizza, beverage and camaraderie. More pictures from the event can be found here. Bingo Brothers (Saturday February 25th, 2012) Roch and Tom Hannasch try their luck at our 2nd Annual Spring Bingo event. There was a lot of fun to be had this year as 40 lucky people brought home Turkeys and Hams. There was also a $50 "cover all" game at the end. This years event had a Marti Gras theme which went over big along with a new menu item, Jambalaya. If you missed it this year, too bad. You can always catch next year's event. Blood Drive 2012
(Monday February 20th, 2012) Last year we had a snow storm for this event. This year the weather was great. There was a steady flow of donor's on hand. The Red Cross people are fantastic and always do a great job. This year our goal was 120 pints and we surpassed that goal by 7 pints.That's event chairman Dave Johnson about to get "STUCK". French Toast Breakfast for the Fr. Fury Fund
(Sunday January 29th, 2012) The Fr. Fury Fund helps families send their kids to St. Joseph's School when finances are an issue. The last few years, we have been sponsoring a breakfast to help raise money for this fund. The generous parishioners of St. Joseph's always support this cause with open hearts. Spaghetti Dinner 2012
(Saturday January 21st, 2012)Frank did it again! Frank Pesta Event Chairman put on another fabulous meal for the 2012 Rosemount Knights of columbus Spaghetti Dinner. What an event. Pancake Breakfast to Help St. Joseph's Kindergarten Teacher (Sunday, December 11th, 2011) The Rosemount and Farmington Councils each held pancake a breakfast as a benefit fundraiser for Kerri Davis. Kerri has been the Kindergarten teacher at St. Joseph's school for the last 23 years. Recently, she lost her home and car to fire.
Many thanks to all those who donated funds at the benefit. The combined proceeds of $4,924 were presented to Kerri at the December Rosemount Council meeting. See more photos from the event here  Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Christmas Party (Sunday, December 11th, 2011) Members of the Mother Teresa Assembly and our council participated in the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Christmas party for Military famlies at the Community Center in Rosemount. Pictured left to right: Alan Kohls (Mother Teresa Assembly), Mike Brunette (Mother Teresa Assembly), Wayne Rychwalski (Faithfull Navigator, Mother Teresa Assembly and Council 5569), Joe Waters (Council 5569) and Bill Scholl (Council 5569).  Behind the scenes, helping Santa with presents for the Military children were Pat Bodine and Mike McIntire. John Morrison was supposed to show up that day and help but he was nowhere to be found.  (Friday, November 11th, 2011) The Mother Teresa Assembly provided an Honor Guard to Honor of our Veterans on Veterans day at St. Joseph's Church
 (Saturday, November 12th, 2011) Two youngsters stare in awe of the majical bino machine! As usual, the annual fall Turkey / Ham bingo event, was a fun filled gathering for the young, old and everyone in between. Twenty four Turkeys and twelve hams were given away to luck families. You didn't have to have a winning card to thoroughly enjoy the evening.
Many thanks to Dan Mills and Jeff Fischbach for chairing the event and thanks to all the Knights and confirmation students who helped server food and clean up after the afterwards.  (Saturday, September 24th, 2011) The Knights of Columbus Council 5569 and District 55 Soccer Challenge provided an awesome showcase of tallent as the winners of the respecive council competitions for Rosemount and Vermillion squared of to decide who was going to state this year. The State competition will be held on October 15th in Coon Rapids. Good luck in the State Competition to all the district winners.
Softball Tournament - 2011
 (Sunday, August 21th, 2011) Our "Knights of Summer" played in the Knights of Columbus Softball Tournament. They won two and lost two, coming in 3rd place.

 (Friday / Saturday, July 29-30, 2011) (Above) If we cook them, they will come. Wow, that was a close one. We had just sold out of pork chops and then the rains came. I think God was looking out for us this weekend. We had perfect weather for Leprechaun days! It was hot, but no rain and the people came to eat chops!This was a stellar performance by our pork chop crew. A record breaking 2,350 chops were cooked, sold and eaten this weekend.  (Sunday, July 24th, 2011) Our council had the honor to serve members of the 34th Infantry Division and their families as part of the Yellow Ribbon reintegration weekend family picnic.
We fired up our newly overhauled grill and cooked hamburgers and brats for the service members and their families and then served the food inside the Rosemount community center. It was nice to be able to show these brave men and women our appreciation for the tremendous sacrifice they have endured for our benefit.  (Sunday, July 17, 2011) The PADRE OPEN Golf outing held at Southern Hills Golf Course promised to be a special event and boy did it deliver once again. Even with a sweltering 90 + degrees and very humid weather, a wonderful time was had by all.There were great prizes again this year and if you missed it, you really missed out on fun golfing, great food and good company. Our chaplin Father Colon joined us again this year as well as a special St. Joseph's alumni Father Roach. What a great event this is and I hope you will join us next year.
